I know its not much, but still
Not what I want to drive home in at 11pm--its a 20 mile drive thru
farm lands...
There was about 3" of snow and I was definatly sliding around 3 or 4
times. When I got home we only had about an inch ofnew, yet they
still canceled school today. Yay for np work, but the kids are
already fighting....

I should have taken a picture when it happened, this was a few hours
later. The kids were racing to was hands and jake bumped clara who
smacked her head in to the door jam. Now she has quarter sized lump
right under her hair line. Today its not as noticable, tho does have
a pretty purple hue to it...

For those who needed an Alex fix....


No, I did not punch Alexandru in the face. He passed out in the mobi wrap for almost 2 hours with his face scrunched up against one of his arms, my ribbed tank top, and his jacket. That whole side of his face was red. There's no chance in hell I'd let him be in the mobi like that if he wasn't on an apnea monitor. I'd freak out assuming he couldn't breathe....

Alex and his momma. He was about to start squawking/talking to her. He mainly talks in tongues, ie you stick your tongue out, so does he ect...

Dacian, my brother in law, cooked dinner tonight. He makes the ONLY
cooked spinach that I'll eat-it tastes absolutely nothing like spinach.
Tonight he also made turkey patties with onion and potatoes that were
really tasty. The funny thing is my sister won't even eat anything
questionable that he cooks...she's missing out...

On a side note today is our 7th anniversary. I forgot about it until
about noon. Hopefully Tom is having a great time alone with the
kids....I told him to go eat somewhere good for dinner or at least get
take out...

Sorry Kelly, I will TRY to take a non-baby pic tomorrow--all I have
done since Wednesday night is read, watch season 1 of Weeds, watch
the first 4 discs of season 3 of LOST, post on disneyland message
boards, play a
bunch of candyland, and hold Mr Alexandru. Tomorrow I'm forcing my
self to stray further away than TGIF or trader jo's......

Clara and her Grandma Priscilla. This is the only picture I took today. And I barely remembered to take it. Tom's parents came down to visit this evening and brought Christmas presents as we never did our normal weekend after Christmas at their house. Jake and Clara got some cool things, and we got $$ which is sorely needed right now. It's going towards our trip to Disneyland.

Jan 7 "snow"

This is almost enough school to wreck havoc on Salem. Pathetic, eh? It was only the little snow flurries, I wanted the big wet snow globe flakes. I love those at night. At least people weren't driving like punks last night.

So it's becoming apparent that on days I work, I take shit pictures. That's okay, I'll live :-)

January 6th. "work"

I spent Sunday sitting, drinking water (only ONE 32oz diet pepsi instead of my normal 3), eating junk food and watching Big Love. We were SLOOOOOOOW.

Okay so until I can get my freaking iphone figured out, I won't have pictures. I took one yesterday and today, but I can't get the email function to work. I'm leaving Tom a note to see if he can fix it before he goes to work in the AM, but if not, there won't be pictures til later this week, at which point I'll post Sunday-whenever.

January 5th

We wanted to drop T-mobile. So we decided to switch to AT&T. And Tom really really really wanted to get the iPhones. Well and since we have money falling out of our asses, why not, right? Yeah, sure. They went on HIS credit card, not mine....

January 4th The lucky car

He's making a weird face, but Jake loves this car. Well as of this morning anyway. He told me it's his lucky car and he HAD to take it to school because he had a spelling test. When I gently reminded him that his teacher takes away toys, he decided it would still help him here at home.

Jan. 3rd

My rock star. Clara "playing" Rock Band with Tom. She was pissed he wouldn't let her plug in. Really she just wanted to hold the guitar and headbang while Tom was playing.

January 2nd "My First Baby"

Also know as Bailey, Bailena Kachina Way Way, doggy, and stop it. You can see her bald nose--I'm not sure WHY it's bald, it's just happened over time. You can't see her graying chin very well, or her super long nails (she freaks out when you cut them), or her big bald patch on her back (allergic to fleas, various dog foods, and we think she just likes chewing on herself). Also absent is her large nipple compliments of our current cat Oregon, and our previous cat Chloe. Both freaks nursed on her, and she let them.

January 1st "The Art Corner"

Also known as the pile of crap. This is where we "try" to clean up all the artsy type stuff my kids love to do. Notice the kickass Pokemon drawing, and the scrapbook pages. Also notice all the other crap that ISN'T artstuff like school pictures, a circa 1980 Starwars thermos, DVD's, a stack of video game cases, and a pumpkin. Sweet. It's a project.

This was taken because it was about 11:55pm and everyone was asleep. I have horrible luck at taking cute sleeping kid pics, and I didn't want to wake anyone up.
