I finally decided to attempt soft pretzels. I got this recipe from Smitten Kitchen. It was pretty easy to follow, and over all took a couple of hours, but most of that was proofing time for the dough. They turned out yummy and salty and warm--so good!
Some new sites I've been enjoying are: Smitten Kitchen, Color Chic, and Sew Mama Sew. I don't know how many recipes and tutorials I've printed out. Now to actually make some of this stuff!

I think I read in The Hatchet (GW paper) that the girl that writes Smitten Kitchen is a GW graduate.
